About The Position

We are hiring a summer Marketing Intern to support the Cox Enterprises brand. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various marketing channels and contribute to real projects. The intern will work on diverse tasks, from social media content creation and community engagement to website updates, audience research, and assisting with paid media planning. The position also involves collaborating with the design team, contributing to events, and presenting progress to marketing leaders. This internship is designed for curious, collaborative individuals ready to jump in and learn.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in marketing, communications, advertising, business, or a related field.
• Strong communicator with good instincts and a sharp eye for details.
• Genuine curiosity about how marketing works.
• Self-starter who takes initiative, stays flexible, and asks good questions.
• Highly organized, deadline-aware, and quick to pick up new tools and systems.
• Comfortable juggling several projects at once.
• Happy brainstorming with a group and working independently.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create content for social, web, email, and campaigns.
• Support social media planning and community engagement, and track performance.
• Contribute to website projects, including refreshing pages, testing UX, and updating content.
• Conduct audience and industry research.
• Assist with paid media planning, channel mixes, and performance reporting.
• Support events and activations.
• Partner with the design team to craft creative briefs and review designs.
• Contribute new ideas for B2B, employment brand, and corporate brand efforts.
• Share progress and updates with marketing leaders and business partners.
