About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a Marketing Intern position. This role involves collaborating with on-site operations, culinary, and nutrition team members to execute student experience programs. Key areas of focus include the cafeteria environment (décor, signage, and merchandising), student engagement and nutrition education programs, hospitality, and promotions. The intern will partner with the school district’s communication team to engage and inform key stakeholders, including clients, school staff, parents, and students. Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a service-oriented approach are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing programs in partnership with operators and regional support teams to ensure continued engagement from students, clients, and communities.
  • Train and support operators in the implementation of student-facing and front-of-house programs, systems, and processes.
  • Customize marketing materials (e.g., social media posts, flyers, brochures, client presentations) and coordinate with district communications teams to execute.
  • Conduct focus groups to understand student and parent preferences for the school meal program and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess front-of-house operations for the student experience, operating standards, and signature programs, and work with operators to monitor results and improve over time.
  • Collect data and report on return on investment and key performance metrics.
