About The Position

The N Brand Agency, a division of Nekia Nichelle, LLC, is a luxe media and marketing agency helping brands with strategic media placements, editorial visibility, broadcast opportunities, production, and AI-era authority building. This non-paid 6-month internship is designed for serious, reliable, and creatively sharp individuals who are ready to grow inside a luxe media and marketing agency environment. We are building future Marketing Coordinators, Brand Strategists, Campaign Managers, and Creative Leads — not short-term contributors. Our team is polished, collaborative, creative, and solutions-driven. We value people who are positive, friendly, communicative, professional, and excited to contribute to a growing agency with high standards. This is a 6-month, unpaid internship designed for academic credit and/or professional development. This role supports marketing efforts across our internal brand pods, helping create campaigns and content that drive authority, engagement, visibility, and audience growth across our platforms. Interns may support social media campaigns, marketing initiatives and launches, content planning and campaign coordination, brand visibility efforts, audience engagement strategies, email marketing support, trend and competitor research, and content repurposing across platforms. You will work alongside leadership and receive feedback to strengthen your strategy, communication, execution, and creative thinking. Weekly meetings are required on Mondays and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in marketing, social media, communications, or digital content preferred
  • Understanding of branding and digital marketing fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Canva and social platforms preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized and responsive
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multitask
  • Able to commit to the full 6-month term
  • Preference will be given to candidates in the Chicago area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with campaign planning and execution
  • Support social media and content marketing initiatives
  • Help organize and repurpose marketing content
  • Research trends, competitors, and audience behavior
  • Assist with brainstorming marketing concepts and campaign ideas
  • Support promotional efforts across digital platforms
  • Collaborate with editorial, social, and agency team members
  • Participate in weekly mandatory Monday and Thursday meetings
