About The Position

Boys Lie is looking for a Marketing intern to join our team working in Marina Del Rey, CA. This candidate is a self-starter with a passion for marketing, as well as excellent organizational and time-management skills. Candidates must be experienced in content creation and video editing. This is an unpaid internship for students seeking to attain internship hours per their course/degree requirements only. The position requires the ability to commute to and around Marina Del Rey, CA, with flexible hours based on class schedules. The intern will manage social media accounts, create heavy video content for Reels and TikTok, engage on Instagram/TikTok, prepare for photoshoots, maintain the Shopify website, oversee office inventory for Sample Sales, assist with event preparation, and perform administrative tasks. The role requires familiarity with video editing platforms like CapCut and Edits, proficiency with social media platforms, Google Suite, and Dropbox, and the ability to run office errands. A positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to juggle concurrent projects are essential.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in college with good academic standing.
• Must be able to commute to and around Marina Del Rey, CA.
• Must have experience in and a passion for marketing.
• Experience in creating and editing video content is necessary.
• Up to date with TikTok and Instagram Reels trends.
• Familiar with video editing platforms such as CapCut and Edits.
• Well-versed and up to date on social media platforms.
• Proficient in working with Google Suite and Dropbox.
• Possesses a positive, can-do attitude and works well in a team environment.
• Able to juggle concurrent projects or duties.

Responsibilities

• Managing Boys Lie social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn).
• HEAVY video content creation for Reels and TikTok.
• Instagram / TikTok engagements and reach outs.
• Photoshoot preparation and organization.
• Website preparation and upkeep via Shopify.
• Oversee office inventory for Sample Sales.
• Event preparation as needed.
• Administrative tasks.
• Run office and company errands as required.
