About Us: Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is a not-for-profit, Member-owned, and locally operated financial institution serving the financial needs of its communities of Membership. We have 25 locations throughout East Tennessee and we serve more than 300,000 Members. The Credit Union helps Members grow financially by offering a variety of accounts including: checking, savings and investments. Also offered are competitive loan rates on new and used autos and recreational vehicles, mortgages, personal loans and credit cards.

Requirements

  • Must currently be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Website Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or General Business.
  • Juniors or Seniors majoring in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Website Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or General Business will be considered.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, such GPA to be stated on resume.

Responsibilities

  • Support Digital Marketing Manager on the refresh of website copy and social media elements.
  • Review current website and help identify areas to create more youthful copy to attract Zillennials and Gen Z target audiences.
  • Review current social media platforms and help identify areas to create more youthful copy and graphics (CANVA) to attract Zillenials and Gen Z target audiences.
  • Support Vice President of Marketing on scripts and other copy writing projects for radio, video, live event announcements, newspaper, magazines, and other media channels.
  • Collaborate with Copywriter Marketing Specialist to craft compelling copy and financial education topics for Zillennials and Gen Z target audiences for multiple media channels.
  • Create relevant themed copy on Credit Union services to appeal to Zillennials and Gen Gen Z target audiences for multiple media channels.
  • Assist other Marketing Team Members, including Business Development and Community Marketing Specialists, as needed.
  • Remain compliant to regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior and performance).
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work cooperatively with others.

  • Being consistent and punctual in the submission of all work assignments to the supervisor and faculty coordinator.
  • Providing Marketing Management team with periodic progress reports.
