About The Position

Albion General Contractors is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist with a variety of marketing and social media initiatives. This in-office role involves supporting business development proposals, presentations, research, and the creation of marketing materials. The intern will work under the guidance of the Sr. Marketing Coordinator and may be involved in tasks such as preparing proposals, surveying customers, researching consumer trends, tracking social media analytics, creating social media schedules, and supporting event hosting.

Requirements

Enrolled in college or university with accredited degree program in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field. Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Attention to detail and highly organized with good time management skills.
Clear verbal and written communication skills with ability to proofread
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and participate.
Able to quickly learn and process information, take direction, follow tasks through to completion, and work in a deadline driven and team environment.
Proficient use of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Flexible to work up to 40 hours per week or more as required.
Excellent internet research skills.
Knowledge or social media analytics software including Facebook insights and Google Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance.

Responsibilities

Supports production of business development proposals, presentations and marketing materials.
Conducting research and updating marketing databases across various system platforms.
Content development of marketing materials, digital asset management, and social media marketing.
Maintaining brand standards across marketing materials.
Provide marketing with periodic status or progress reports.
Maintain professionalism with company employees, clients and vendors.
Other activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned.
