The Marketing Intern will support Ascent’s Marketing and Sales teams by assisting in the execution of campaigns, marketing operations, and cross-functional initiatives. This role is designed to give you hands-on experience across marketing systems, campaign execution, and business operations, while contributing to key initiatives that help us drive student engagement.

Requirements

Available to work approximately 20 hours per week during business hours (Tuesday–Thursday in office)
Available for a 3-month internship (July–September) with potential to extend
Recent graduate or early-career candidate preferred
Relevant degree marketing, advertising/PR, communications, advertising, or equivalent preferred
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness and ability to learn new tools and systems
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required

Responsibilities

Assist in building and preparing marketing emails in HubSpot, including copywriting, content setup, UTMs, and audience configuration
Support QA and testing of landing pages and key search terms prior to campaign launches
Support various awareness and engagement marketing campaigns across digital, email, and social media channels through monthly marketing calendars
Conduct competitive research and market monitoring to support marketing strategy
Support scholarship program coordination and execution
Assist with compliance-related processes and monitoring
Office support for visitors, meetings, and team events
Support prospect and account research for Sales and Partnerships teams, including event and trade show logistics and coordination
Familiarity with or interest in learning AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to support content creation, research, and marketing operations; eager to explore new ways to improve efficiency with AI agents
