Job Summary Seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Marketing Intern to support proposal coordination, data management, and marketing operations through advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and AI-driven tools while gaining hands-on exposure to pursuits and business development in the AEC industry.

Requirements

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage and structure large amounts of information effectively
  • Tech-savvy with a strong interest in learning and using new tools, including AI and automation platforms
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create clear, polished, and data-driven materials
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Interest in marketing, business development, or pursuits within the AEC industry
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data organization) is required
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data organization, reporting, or dashboarding is an asset
  • Exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) or a strong interest in learning them
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign or other design tools is an asset but not required

Responsibilities

  • Organize, maintain, and update spreadsheets and datasets to support marketing and pursuit activities
  • Assist in creating and formatting PowerPoint presentations for proposals, client meetings, and internal use
  • Support the preparation and coordination of proposals, qualifications, and other pursuit-related submissions
  • Maintain and organize marketing content, including resumes, project sheets, and boilerplate materials
  • Manage and optimize marketing databases and large datasets using advanced Excel functions (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data validation) to ensure accuracy and usability
  • Leverage digital tools and AI platforms to improve efficiency in content creation, data organization, and workflow processes
  • Conduct basic research and compile information to support business development and pursuit efforts
  • Provide general administrative and marketing support to the team as needed
  • Gain hands-on exposure to the pursuits process, with a potential pathway to a full-time role on the Pursuits team
