About The Position

Family Farm and Home is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern- focused on video editing, content production and strategic campaign development for Summer 2026. This internship provides hands-on experience producing engaging video content that supports marketing, training, and internal communications, along with development of a strategic marketing campaign centered around a major milestone event. This position will blend storytelling, customer engagement and promotional strategy development to drive brand (training) awareness, traffic and sales. The ideal candidate has a passion for creative storytelling for both brand awareness and promotion, paired with strong editing skills and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite video production software (i.e. Premiere Pro, After Effects).

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Video Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Basic understanding of video editing techniques, brand strategy, storytelling, and pacing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with a willingness to take direction and feedback
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with content creation in multiple Adobe Creative Suite Programs (i.e. After Effects, Photoshop, or Audition)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and video formatting best practices
  • Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio recording
  • Portfolio or samples of previous video work
  • Basic understanding of marketing tactics, analytics and performance tracking

Responsibilities

  • Produce & edit high-quality video content for internal training, marketing campaigns, and social media projects
  • Collaborate with team members to plan, shoot, and execute video projects from concept to final delivery
  • Assist in capturing video footage at store locations, events, and other company facilities
  • Incorporate graphics, music, voiceovers, and branding elements into video projects
  • Organize and manage video assets and project files
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to support milestone event campaign for 2027
  • Conduct market and consumer research to identify key insights, trends and opportunities within the farm and ranch retail division
  • Assist in building campaign concepts, messaging and promotional themes that align with brand identity
  • Support content creation across channels including social media, email, in-store signage and digital platforms
  • Help plan and propose in-store and community-based event ideas to drive customer engagement
  • Ensure all content aligns with Family Farm & Home brand standards and messaging
  • Present final campaign strategy and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the internship
