About The Position

This internship position offers an opportunity to collaborate with the Marketing team on immediate and ongoing initiatives. Interns will assist in content creation for social media and other channels, distribute marketing materials, and support daily administrative tasks. The role also involves market analysis, competitor research, and utilizing company databases and CRM systems. Additionally, interns will support the planning and execution of marketing events like tradeshows and conventions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for marketing, communications, or in a similar field required.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, required; must communicate well on the telephone.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must be well-organized, have a high detail orientation and be flexible in performing daily duties.
  • Team orientation and ability to work well and communicate within a small team required.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Employees must not be specifically barred from working with Federal contracts, government entities or otherwise listed on excluded parties list as maintained by the Federal government.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Marketing techniques, theory, and best practices preferred.
  • Familiarity or hands-on experience with marketing software (and social media platforms.
  • Preference for candidates with Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support immediate and on-going Marketing initiatives.
  • Assist team members with the creation of content for social media platforms and other channels.
  • Distribute marketing materials and collateral as needed.
  • Support the Marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
  • Perform market analysis and research; research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
  • Utilize company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) as needed.
  • Support the planning process and successful execution of tradeshows, conventions, and other Marketing-related events.
