The Intern accepts department specific responsibilities that support team members performing marketing, media relations, social media and internal communications for the health system. The Intern assists in writing, posting, event attendance, media support and more.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently a college student required.
• Interest in health care communications, media relations and or marketing required.
• commitment to developing communications skills
• strong verbal communicator

• interest in health care media relations, communications and or marketing

Responsibilities

• Writes copy for website and newsletters (20%)
• Supports media relations with media monitoring and reporter engagement (20%)
• Supports managers with projects (20%)
• Attends events that support community engagement (20%)
• Engages with social media execution (20%)
