About The Position

The Marketing Intern provides entry-level support for marketing campaign execution, team coordination, content development, and project tracking. Working under direct supervision and close direction from marketing team members and project stakeholders, the intern receives guidance on daily priorities, task execution, and deliverables. The role helps build foundational knowledge of Parker’s marketing processes, tools, brand standards, and customer-focused growth initiatives. The Summer 2027 internship is based at Parker’s Global Headquarters in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and does not have direct reports.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a university student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work in-office in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and customer communication.
• Demonstrated professionalism, curiosity, learning agility, and alignment with Parker values.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
• Ability to collaborate and respond to direction in a timely manner.
• Basic problem-solving, organization, and task execution skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support campaign planning and execution activities under the direction of marketing team members.
• Assist with development, organization, and review of sales and marketing content.
• Support project coordination, task tracking, meeting preparation, and follow-up activities.
• Help gather information for campaign execution, content development, and performance review.
• Learn and apply Parker brand standards, messaging practices, and marketing fundamentals.
• Assist with basic digital marketing activities, including website, email, search, and content-related tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and support high-quality execution.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, responsiveness, and follow-through on assigned work.
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
