About The Position

Qyrus is seeking a high-energy Marketing Generalist to own end-to-end event execution across the US and UK markets. This role involves more than just logistics; the individual will be the face, voice, and creative engine of Qyrus's US marketing presence, bridging the gap between the US team and the global marketing engine in India. Responsibilities range from managing sponsorships and scripting social videos to hosting on-camera content and building community. The ideal candidate will take true ownership and make a significant impact.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of core marketing experience.
  • Solid track record of managing corporate events from scratch.
  • Enjoy being on camera, possess great screen presence, and can articulate tech concepts in a relatable, engaging way.
  • Smartphone videography skills (framing, good lighting, clear audio) and the ability to capture clean, editable raw footage.
  • Strong short-form writing skills for platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Ability to write natural-sounding video scripts.
  • Stellar organizational skills to manage vendors, event timelines, and cross-continental communication across US and India time zones.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Ability to travel across the US for major event executions.
  • Authorized to accept employment in the U.S. from any employer.
  • Willing to start within four weeks of accepting an offer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the B2B tech, DevOps, or SaaS space.
  • An existing network or understanding of the software engineering/testing community.
  • A portfolio or examples of past work (event management, content writing, on-camera performance).

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of all US and UK events and trade shows where Qyrus is sponsoring or exhibiting, including pre-event planning, booth logistics, on-site execution, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Act as a bridge between marketing and the US sales team, equipping them with event collateral, pitch decks, talk tracks, and localized content.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, global creative marketing in India) to ensure brand alignment and smooth project delivery.
  • Capture video clips, behind-the-scenes footage, and culture recordings of the US team, collaborating with the India creative team to integrate US content into global social media themes.
  • Host, interview, and speak on camera for event recaps, video explainers, and social snippets.
  • Write short-form social copy and video scripts that are punchy, engaging, and aligned with the brand identity.
  • Help build and nurture the US tech community by identifying, reaching out to, and collaborating with industry influencers to expand Qyrus's organic reach and brand authority.
