About The Position

This role focuses on leading the execution of the company's American events calendar and shaping its regional brand presence in North America. The specialist will collaborate with local Sales colleagues and the global Marketing team based in the Netherlands, adapting messaging, driving field campaigns, and ensuring brand impact. The position serves as a key link between US operations and the Netherlands office, reporting to the Marketing Projects and Events Manager in the Netherlands.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within defense, aerospace, or technology
  • Proven track record in executing trade shows, field marketing, and sales enablement
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills in English
  • Keen eye for brand consistency and visual detail
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with Sales and international teams
  • Hands-on, adaptable approach suited for a high-growth environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for events and customer engagements
  • A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background check are part of our screening process.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, or WordPress is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute US events from ideation to follow-up, including trade shows, conferences, and partner activities.
  • Manage local agencies, booth logistics, and merchandise.
  • Support the US Sales team with tailored presentations and marketing materials.
  • Align local priorities with global strategy to deliver relevant content.
  • Elevate the brand voice for American audiences and act as a local brand guardian.
  • Ensure visual identity and messaging stay consistent across all channels.
  • Connect US operations with the Netherlands office to share local insights.
  • Keep communication flowing seamlessly across time zones.
  • Coordinate local creative agencies, event suppliers, and industry associations.
  • Keep projects running on schedule and within budget.
  • Pitch in on broader marketing initiatives wherever local presence adds value.
  • Adapt quickly to the needs of a fast-growing scale-up environment.
