About The Position

Beedie is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Marketing & Events Specialist to support our growing Industrial Development portfolio. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on events and experiential marketing, complemented by industrial project marketing support, and is ideal for a seasoned marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment. You will work closely with the Senior Director, Industrial Marketing, as well as internal sales, leasing, and leadership teams, to plan and execute industry‑leading events and marketing initiatives that support Beedie’s industrial projects, broker relationships, and brand presence. From national broker events and sponsorship activations to project marketing campaigns, you will lead initiatives end to end, turning ideas into memorable, well-executed experiences. Travel is a key part of the role, including location scouting and acting as the lead planner onsite, putting you at the centre of Beedie’s most impactful events. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and/or events, ideally within real estate, professional services, or a related industry.
  • Post‑secondary education in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience planning and executing events from concept through delivery.
  • Established network of industry contacts and partners, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including excellent grammar and proofreading ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office, and CRM/email marketing software (an asset).
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly across BC and other markets as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Flexibility to support events outside of standard business hours when needed. Advanced notice will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Beedie’s industrial events and experiential initiatives, including broker events, project launches, industry sponsorships, roadshows, and corporate hospitality.
  • Lead end‑to‑end event execution, including concept development, budgeting, venue sourcing, logistics, vendor coordination, on‑site execution, and post‑event wrap‑up, ensuring high‑quality, on‑brand experiences.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and agencies to deliver seamless event experiences.
  • Support executive participation at events, including briefing materials, schedules, and on‑site support as required.
  • Track event outcomes and provide post‑event reporting and insights.
  • Support the execution of industrial project marketing initiatives across the sales and leasing lifecycle.
  • Assist with the development and coordination of marketing collateral, including brochures, signage, presentations, digital assets, and email campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure marketing materials align with Beedie’s brand standards and business objectives.
  • Support content development for email marketing, social media, and website updates related to industrial projects and events.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating industrial listings, project information, and marketing assets.
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and budgets for assigned marketing initiatives.
  • Champion the Beedie brand by ensuring consistency of messaging, visual identity, and quality across all marketing and event initiatives.
