About The Position

Zoomies is Chicago's premier indoor/outdoor dog park experience. We are building a team that loves dogs as much as our members do. We’re building the future of pet services with a high-energy eatertainment vibe. Our Marketing Manager will own Zoomies' social media presence, plan and execute community events, manage local partnerships, and help drive membership growth through creative content and outreach. You'll be based at Zoomies full-time, present in the park and at events to capture content and stay connected to the brand you're building. You'll report directly to leadership and have a meaningful seat at the table as we grow.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of social media management and content creation experience; brand or agency background welcome
  • Strong visual eye and proficiency with photo/video editing tools (Adobe Suite, CapCut, Canva, or similar)
  • Proven ability to grow a social media following and drive engagement organically
  • Event planning or coordination experience is required
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously without close supervision
  • Exceptional written communication skills; ability to write in a warm, on-brand voice
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar)
  • Based in Chicago; comfortable being at the park regularly for content capture
  • Dog-friendly personality is non-negotiable — you'll be working around dogs every single day

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage Zoomies' social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) — content creation, scheduling, engagement, and growth strategy
  • Create compelling photo and video content by being present at the park during high-traffic hours; capture authentic moments of dogs, members, and the Zoomies experience
  • Plan and execute community events including member appreciation nights, dog-friendly pop-ups, breed meetups, charity partnerships, and seasonal events
  • Develop and execute local marketing campaigns — flyers, partnerships with pet-adjacent businesses, neighborhood outreach, and influencer collaborations
  • Manage Zoomies' email marketing program: write and send newsletters, promotional announcements, and member communications
  • Track and report on social and marketing performance metrics; make data-informed adjustments to strategy
  • Support membership sales through campaigns, promotions, referral programs, and conversion-focused content
  • Coordinate with Customer Success and Operations teams to align marketing messaging with the on-the-ground experience
  • Manage marketing budget; coordinate with vendors, photographers, and print/design partners as needed
