About The Position

Seeking an individual to support our marketing initiatives and event coordination efforts as part time or on an as-needed basis. This is a remote position with some occasional travel between office locations in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

  • College courses or HS diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or 1 year of equivalent experience).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using social media platforms, email marketing tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in event planning or marketing internships.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events, both virtual and in-person.
  • Support marketing campaigns, including social media content, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Update and maintain company website content or blog posts.
  • Help design marketing materials, flyers, brochures, and presentations using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including venue setup, vendor communication, and attendee management.
  • Maintain marketing calendars and track project timelines.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and post-event evaluations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Adhere to company AS9100, CMMC, and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned
