Marketing Engineer, Growth

HealthspanSanta Monica, CA
$190,000 - $235,000Remote

About The Position

Healthspan is seeking an individual to lead growth initiatives, treating distribution as an engineering problem. This role involves building and iterating on systems to find, inform, and convert patients, with a focus on end-to-end ownership of the full funnel and company revenue. The position requires a technical individual who can operate across strategy, creative, copy, design, code, paid operations, and analytics, building internal tooling and content engines to drive growth at an unprecedented pace. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of measurable growth results at a real company and a strong understanding of systems engineering applied to human attention, with the ability to write effectively and a genuine interest in longevity science.

Requirements

  • Technical proficiency, comfortable in a terminal.
  • Fluent with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Meta and Google APIs, MCP servers.
  • Experience shipping agents that perform real work.
  • Ability to read and write code sufficiently to build missing tools independently.
  • Capability to operate across the full stack of growth: strategy, creative, copy, design, code, paid ops, analytics, content.
  • Demonstrable experience running growth or a significant part of it at a visible company with measurable results (e.g., reduced CAC, increased conversion, successful channel launches, enduring systems).
  • Understanding of distribution as systems engineering applied to human attention.
  • Familiarity with concepts like Anthropic's growth team playbook (one operator, agent swarm, 10x creative output).
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to adopt Healthspan's plainspoken, intellectually confident, and hype-averse tone.
  • Interest in longevity science or the ability to quickly become rigorous about it.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a category-defining clinic.
  • Experience building systems beyond prompt-writing.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue with the CEO, including forecasting, defending, and growing it.
  • Ship end-to-end growth initiatives without being blocked, including copy, landing pages, analytics, ad accounts, creative generation, and deployment.
  • Build missing pieces of the technology stack required for growth.
  • Proactively identify and test new channels and experiments.
  • Develop strategies and systems for partnerships, distribution, product-adjacent growth loops, referral mechanics, and new acquisition surfaces.
  • Establish the acquisition engine across paid, organic, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Build internal tooling for rapid content and creative production, ad operations, and performance dashboards.
  • Own the content engine, translating clinical protocols and research into engaging content.
  • Conduct honest analysis of attribution, cohort economics, and LTV by protocol.

Benefits

  • Direct ownership of the growth function.
  • Equity commensurate with the scope of the role.
  • A clinical and product team that respects the craft and provides autonomy.
  • Compensation that reflects the value of a single, high-performing individual.
