•$75,000 - $80,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Marketing Director manages program revenue marketing, department project management and core marketing channels—including email, organic social media, the website, and SEO/AEO—to grow YMCA membership, program enrollment and community engagement. Within organizational goals, budgets and brand standards set with the VP of Marketing and Communications, the Director exercises independent judgment in setting campaign strategies and targets, audience and channel approaches, timing and department priorities. The Director plans, executes and evaluates campaigns, manages web and SEO/AEO vendors, and uses performance data to improve results and guide future marketing decisions. Working collaboratively with the Marketing and Communications team, executive directors, program leaders and the Development team, the Director serves as the department’s marketing lead for membership, youth development, sports, aquatics, camp and other YMCA program priorities. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but manages external web development and SEO/AEO vendors and leads the branch social advocates program. The role provides occasional evening and weekend support for events, programs and time-sensitive communications. It is based at the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver in Denver, Colorado. The work regularly involves extended computer use and communication by computer and phone or smart device; it also involves sitting, reaching and moving around the work environment, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 10 pounds. Occasional support at indoor and outdoor events across YMCA facilities may be required. The work environment typically has moderate noise.
