About The Position

The Director of Marketing is a senior leader guiding Snowbasin Resort at a defining moment. Ranked as the No. 1 ski resort in America and preparing to host the 2034 Winter Olympic Games, Snowbasin is entering its most important decade yet, and this role is responsible for shaping it. The role owns the full marketing function for the resort, leads an on-property marketing team, and leverages centralized Grand America Hotels & Resorts resources across creative, performance, and marketing technology to execute at scale. The Director drives revenue and sets the strategic vision for marketing and communications. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director's influence extends well beyond marketing into resort-wide strategy and guest experience. Snowbasin is a leadership-heavy, on-site culture, and this role is expected to lead accordingly. The ideal candidate is a strategist at heart, with a strong understanding of digital media, customer relationship strategy, and the ability to translate vision into measurable revenue. This leader sets direction for an integrated marketing ecosystem that delivers brand experience, drives engagement, and leads financial growth. Equally important, this leader is a builder and a doer. This is a hands-on leadership role where the Director sets direction and contributes actively to the work. Beyond executing the resort's marketing goals, the Director of Marketing builds a high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement and talent development. The ideal candidate balances ambitious business goals with genuine people leadership and thrives in a matrixed environment with cross-functional collaboration.
