About The Position

As Marketing Director – JCK & Luxury, you will lead the strategic marketing direction and performance for a portfolio of premier event brands. You will develop integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand positioning, drive audience and exhibitor growth, and deliver measurable commercial results while creating exceptional customer experiences across every touchpoint. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Data & Analytics, Digital, Registration, and other key stakeholders, you will translate business priorities into innovative omnichannel marketing programs, while mentoring marketing professionals and championing continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Progressive marketing experience, including experience leading integrated marketing strategies and teams.
  • Proven success developing and executing marketing strategies for a brand, business unit, or major product line, preferably within B2B events, media, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into marketing strategies that drive measurable commercial results.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience partnering closely with team leaders.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing marketing professionals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using customer insights and performance data to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, forecasting investments, and optimizing spend to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic marketing direction for assigned event brand(s), developing integrated marketing strategies that drive audience acquisition, customer engagement, brand equity, and revenue growth.
  • Work in a cross-functional environment with teams across digital, content, creative, data, operations, registration, and customer experience to deliver cohesive, omnichannel marketing programs.
  • Develop annual marketing plans, brand positioning, and messaging frameworks that align with business priorities and customer needs.
  • Work in a partnership with Sales to develop marketing strategies that support exhibitor acquisition and support growth segment strategy.
  • Establish and monitor key marketing performance indicators, evaluating campaign and business performance while recommending strategic adjustments to maximize results.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget for assigned brand(s), ensuring resources are strategically allocated, forecasts are effectively managed, and investments maximize business impact and return on investment.
  • Partner with the Portfolio Marketing Director to support broader marketing initiatives, organizational priorities, process improvements, and the continued evolution of marketing capabilities across the department.
