This role focuses on measuring the impact of integrated marketing efforts, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing actionable insights to enhance campaign and web performance. The Marketing Data Analyst will use expertise in data analysis and visualization tools to inform strategies that connect pet parents with the company's services, ultimately contributing to the well-being of pets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics/analytics or related field required
  • 3-5 years of work experience in statistical or data analysis
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and analytical skills
  • Must have skills: Google Analytics, BigQuery, SQL, Data Layer Implementations, and Microsoft PowerBI
  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly desirable
  • Experience growing revenues and measuring media impact metrics
  • Excellent digital aptitude, significant familiarity with ad ops technology, and affiliate tracking and management tools.
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing and web KPIs (CTR, ROI, CVR, CAC, MAU) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains performance reports and dashboards on website, campaign and funnel performance and reports to stakeholders on a regular cadence.
  • Analyzes performance and provide thoughtful recommendations for optimizations.
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing and web activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development and automation of regular reports.
  • Analyzes customer data using database queries (SQL), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Dynamic Yield, etc.), data warehouse (Databricks) and campaign management software tools.
  • Analyzes A/B and Multi-variate tests, communicate results and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to evaluate data and translate into business insights to inform strategy across key company initiatives.
  • Supports continued improvement of channel attribution capabilities and reporting.
  • Collaborate across teams to analyze marketing campaign performance to grow audiences and revenue across all platforms including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing, and Email.
