About The Position

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to join our Marketing Operations & Events team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining reporting infrastructure that provides visibility into marketing program performance, campaign ROI, and pipeline contribution, while also executing email marketing and landing page campaigns across North America and supporting the company’s global NRF annual event. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with hands-on marketing execution experience and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. The Marketing Data Analyst serves as a key contributor to the Marketing Operations & Events team by transforming marketing and sales data into meaningful reporting and recommendations. This position owns dashboard development and reporting processes, supports data integration initiatives, delivers analytical insights to leadership, and manages email marketing execution. Success in this role requires expertise in business intelligence tools, marketing technology platforms, data analysis, and campaign operations. This position does not directly manage a budget; however, the reporting, dashboards, and analytical insights generated by this role directly influence marketing investment decisions, campaign optimization strategies, and budget allocation across the Marketing Operations & Events organization. This position works across multiple marketing systems and stakeholder groups, translating varied and often ambiguous business requests into accurate, actionable reporting. Success requires strong technical expertise, data analysis capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences while managing recurring deadlines and competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related data analysis role.
  • Advanced proficiency with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong SQL and data manipulation skills.
  • Experience pulling, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple business systems.
  • Ability to develop meaningful data visualizations and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Marketo, HubSpot, or Eloqua.
  • Experience building, scheduling, and reporting on email marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing and optimizing landing pages using platforms such as Instapage.
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS for email and landing page development.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports that track marketing performance, campaign ROI, and pipeline contribution.
  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and visualizations based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timely refreshes across reporting platforms.
  • Own the marketing analytics reporting calendar, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership reporting.
  • Validate data integrity and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies.
  • Manage reporting access and permissions for Marketing Operations & Events team members.
  • Partner with Marketing Technology team members to maintain clean, reliable data flows between systems.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues across CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new marketing and sales data sources.
  • Maintain documentation of data definitions, reporting logic, and dashboard standards.
  • Assist with Power BI administration and reporting best practices.
  • Escalate and help resolve platform and data quality concerns.
  • Analyze campaign, program, and event performance data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis in response to leadership and operational requests.
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with event and campaign teams to evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Present reporting updates, dashboard insights, and analytical findings to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Simplify complex data concepts into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for reporting processes, dashboard logic, governance standards, and data definitions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting efficiency and consistency.
  • Build, schedule, and deploy email campaigns, nurture programs, operational emails, and newsletters.
  • Manage email calendars, audience segmentation, and list hygiene processes.
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and email deliverability best practices.
  • Maintain and update email templates in partnership with brand and web teams.
  • Coordinate event-related registration, confirmation, and follow-up communications.
  • Monitor and report on email performance metrics, including opens, clicks, and conversions.
  • Assist with reporting tool licenses, documentation, and access management.
  • Provide cross-functional support during periods of increased workload or priority initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
