About The Position

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the hands-on activation of marketing tactics at the grassroots level in support of hospital, physician, and service line priorities. This role focuses on executing integrated marketing tactics—including events, community seminars, sponsorships, organic social media, and local outreach—to build awareness, drive engagement, and drive customer acquisition. Serving as a key field-based marketing partner, the Specialist works closely with hospital leadership, physicians, clinical teams, and internal marketing and communications partners to bring marketing plans to life in the market. The coordinator engages with the community and key community stakeholders. The role emphasizes execution, community presence, and performance recaps to demonstrate impact and return on investment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, execution focused, and comfortable supporting multiple facilities in a fast paced, matrixed healthcare environment. The specialist will report to the hospital Marketing Director or Manager and have strong day-to-day interactions with the field marketing team, communications team, hospital administration and clinical leaders and home office marketing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required.
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across facilities.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel and social media tools.
  • Strong organizational, follow‑up, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of marketing, advertising agency, communications, or coordination experience preferred.
  • Healthcare or multi‑location experience a plus.
