About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the head of Marketing with the development of strategies to boost the reputation and visibility of the PBI banks. Primary responsibilities include communicating and relaying information to upper management and department heads to ensure successful deployment of marketing campaigns from ideation to execution. This role works with all regions to achieve strategic goals, produce Market and initiative based plans, and develop practical budgets to promote products and services as well as guide, inspire and train branch employees for the overall success of Banks. This position is located in Sioux Falls and is not a remote role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing role.
  • Knowledge of Social Media trends and best practices.
  • Experience with web analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience in design programs (Canva, Adobe CC Programs, etc.) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of banking industry preferred.
  • Experience in WordPress CMS, Kadince, Navigator, or similar products preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as subject matter expert in areas related to marketing, including current knowledge of industry trends, effective use of social media, and best practices.
  • Performs regular touch points with stakeholders for professional collaboration on marketing objectives and results.
  • Collaborates with the PBI Vice President of Marketing on the development of the Marketing Strategic Plan.
  • Assists Regional Marketing and PBI Marketing resources in the creation, management, and measurement of Market or initiative-based plans.
  • Utilizes available tools to use data to identify target audiences, and creates content that engages, inspires, and motivates.
  • Partners with senior management and acts as a trusted advisor to develop marketing solutions that are tailored to business needs.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors budgets on behalf of department.
  • Organizes campaigns and promotions across all banks, including coordinating schedules and deliveries.
  • Participates in all stages of advertisement development, from brainstorming to creation, execution, and measurement
  • Actively builds and maintains databases/systems to support future goals and marketing ideas.
  • Provides copywriting/editing as required for digital advertising, emails, social media, radio, print, PR, etc.
  • Measures effectiveness of marketing campaigns and assesses against goals, provides reports to leadership.
  • Plans, prioritizes, and organizes work efficiently to produce measurable results while handling multiple projects.
  • Coordinates with the Marketing team for success in all areas of excellence.
  • Attends and participates in assigned meetings, stakeholder, and industry events. Provides Marketing presentations and updates as requested.
