About The Position

The CIEE Global Navigator High School Study Abroad programs have been growing exponentially in the past 10 years. That growth was largely fueled by the success of our alumni engagement strategy which activates and nurtures a cohort of highly motivated and trained high school alumni called “Global Ambassadors”. These students volunteer to present about CIEE programs and scholarship opportunities in their school community and refer friends. Our team trains them, equips them, and supports them throughout the school year. This new Coordinator position will support the Community Engagement Manager as our engagement strategy is growing in scope and ambition to include a broader set of champions like Program Leaders, Parents of Alumni or International Exchange Students. From coordinating virtual and in-person events to designing, adapting and distributing presentation materials, this role is a great opportunity to grow as a well-rounded marketer and engagement specialist. Success will be measured by the growth in our cohorts of champions and their engagement rate, as well as the number of new travelers applying through a referral. We’re looking for candidates with strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a creative edge, to be able to not only coordinate but actively contribute to the production and update of our HSOB engagement assets (print, digital, video). This role reports directly to the HSOB Community Engagement Manager and will collaborate internally with the HSOB marketing team as well as the larger CIEE Digital Marketing Team and HSOB sales team to plan the execution of the HSOB community engagement plan and track performance over time.
