The Marketing Coordinator will interface with agencies, personnel, and participants in the execution of special events. This role assists in the production and dissemination of promotional information and signage needed for special events, and secures and maintains all necessary permits, decorations, equipment, and personnel. The coordinator contributes to the creation of new special events presentations and special promotions prior to approval, and assists in executing budgets for individual special events productions, recording expenditures and charting budget variances. This position provides necessary information to enable appropriate departments to evaluate the success of special events and promotions on the basis of media coverage generated, Racino drop, or other qualitative and quantitative measures. The Marketing Coordinator acts as a role model, always presents oneself as a credit to the JACK Thistledown and JACK Entertainment brand, and encourages others to do the same. They must meet attendance guidelines, adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies, and be licensed and authorized to obtain money from the cage and distribute promotional prize money on the gaming floor. The role assists the Marketing Manager in the creation and/or implementation of all promotions and events both on property and off, reviews Atrient programs for each event, and tests them prior to each event. They will submit IT, Graphics and BEO requests and must be thoroughly knowledgeable of all rules and procedures for all promotions and events. The coordinator contributes to program development to help the department achieve its goals and notifies ClubJACK/Marketing Manager of any rules and procedures violations. This role is responsible for project management and meeting timelines, must exhibit attention to detail and follow through, and maintains records and inventory of promotions on a monthly basis. They will maintain organization of all promotions folders, conduct promotional drawings, contact winner(s), and follow up with all paperwork. The Marketing Coordinator assists in the creation of necessary coupons in-house and keeps ClubJACK, F&B, accounting, or any other affected departments informed on all coupons in circulation. They check daily on all in-house signage and brochure racks for outdated or damaged signs, replace information as needed, and complete work orders/signage requests. This role informs other departments if their signs are damaged or need replacement, and tracks all merchandise going to or coming from the company warehouse to ensure proper inventory information. Promotional merchandise is inventoried on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis as requested or required, updating the Marketing Manager. Records, charts, and graphs of promotions are maintained on a monthly basis. The Marketing Coordinator assists in the execution and attends all parties/events held by ClubJACK/Promotions and/or Player Development, and assists in the arrival and set up of live entertainment. They must be comfortable speaking in front of people and using a microphone to emcee events and promotions. Any other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager. This role oversees the creation of promotional pieces, coupons, and certificates for assigned promotional events, and communicates this information to all departments involved, as well as Accounting. Creates and distributes inter- and intra-departmental communication of all promotions and events.
