Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, community engagement, or a related field.
  • Experience planning and executing events from concept through completion.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Social media knowledge and basic content creation experience.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel regularly between Southwest Florida locations.
  • Comfortable working primarily in-person and participating in evening or weekend events as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Marine, boating, automotive, powersports, hospitality, or outdoor recreation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, promote, and execute boat shows, customer events, on-water experiences, and community activations.
  • Support localized marketing campaigns that drive traffic, leads, and sales opportunities.
  • Manage social media engagement and maintain brand consistency across assigned channels.
  • Coordinate marketing projects and requests while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Assist with event logistics, attendee tracking, promotional materials, and post-event reporting.
  • Collaborate with store leadership teams to support location-specific marketing initiatives.
  • Track campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for The Boat House brand throughout Southwest Florida.
