About The Position

The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) is seeking an exceptional Marketing Content Strategy Manager to transform the quality, effectiveness, and impact of our marketing communications. This individual will develop marketing strategies and content that capture attention, strengthen the CRF brand, drive engagement, and inspire physicians, healthcare professionals, industry partners, and other audiences to take action. The ideal candidate knows that every word matters. They create clear, concise, and purposeful messaging that transforms complex scientific concepts into compelling marketing across digital, print, email, web, video, social media, and live event campaigns. They know when to challenge conventional thinking, simplify complexity, and focus on the messages that matter most. Working closely with marketing leadership, physicians, project managers, designers, and digital teams, this role will shape CRF’s voice, elevate the quality of every marketing touchpoint, improve campaign performance, and help establish a culture of marketing excellence across the organization.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in marketing copywriting, content strategy, brand storytelling, or integrated marketing.
  • Demonstrated success developing marketing campaigns that have increased audience engagement, registrations, lead generation, conversions, or other measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating concise, persuasive, audience focused marketing across multiple channels.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and communication platforms.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex technical or scientific information into compelling marketing content.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, email marketing, SEO, social media, paid media, and audience engagement.
  • Experience using analytics, audience insights, and testing methodologies to improve campaign performance.
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys and how messaging influences behavior across different stages of engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, physicians, subject matter experts, designers, developers, and cross functional teams.
  • Experience working with content management systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and AI enabled content solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop persuasive, audience focused marketing copy that increases awareness, engagement, registrations, and participation across CRF’s educational meetings, scientific programs, and organizational initiatives.
  • Lead messaging strategy and content development for integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event marketing channels.
  • Develop and manage content plans that support campaign goals, audience engagement, and cross-channel marketing execution.
  • Write, edit, and oversee compelling content for websites, email campaigns, social media, paid advertising, video, presentations, print collateral, event signage, promotional materials, executive communications, and other marketing assets.
  • Develop social media messaging and content strategies that support integrated marketing campaigns and organizational goals.
  • Translate complex scientific and medical information into clear, concise, and compelling marketing communications while maintaining scientific accuracy.
  • Develop messaging frameworks and content strategies that ensure a consistent brand voice while tailoring communications to specific audiences and channels.
  • Partner with physicians, subject matter experts, designers, digital marketers, and project managers to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Use audience insights, analytics, A/B testing, and campaign performance data to continuously refine messaging and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen campaign performance through more compelling storytelling, clearer positioning, and stronger calls to action.
  • Optimize content for search, user experience, accessibility, digital engagement, and conversion.
  • Leverage AI and emerging marketing technologies to improve efficiency while maintaining originality, quality, and brand integrity.
  • Maintain CRF’s editorial standards and ensure all marketing communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with the organization’s brand and strategic objectives.
  • Stay current with marketing trends, digital platforms, healthcare communications, and content best practices, recommending new approaches that enhance campaign performance.
  • Serve as the organization’s editorial expert by providing guidance, elevating the quality of marketing communications, and helping establish best practices for messaging across the organization.
  • Additional duties as required.
