About The Position

The Iowa Clinic is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to join their team. This role involves developing and executing external communication and content strategies to support growth, recruitment, and brand reputation. The specialist will manage social media, create multimedia content, maintain provider digital presence, oversee website content, coordinate onboarding/offboarding communications, and support broader marketing initiatives. The Iowa Clinic is locally owned and led by physicians, with decisions made in Central Iowa, focusing on exceptional care, exceeding expectations, compassion, and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or related field required.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in content strategy, social media management, and digital content creation.
• Demonstrated computer competency required.
• Experience with design and video editing software is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with animation and photography is strongly preferred.
• Microsoft software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes external communication and content strategies to support growth, recruitment, and brand reputation
• Manages social media strategy, content, engagement, and performance reporting
• Creates and produces multimedia content (written, visual, video) for digital, web, and marketing channels
• Maintains and enhances provider digital presence and online reputation
• Oversees website content updates and accuracy through CMS
• Coordinates provider onboarding/offboarding communications and updates
• Supports events, promotions, and broader marketing initiatives
