About The Position

Butterfly Effects is seeking a creative and organized Marketing Content & Social Media Specialist to support content creation, social media management, video production, and brand storytelling across our national organization. This role will work closely with the marketing team, clinical leaders, recruiting team, and field staff to create engaging content that highlights our culture, clinical excellence, community involvement, and impact on children and families affected by autism. The ideal candidate is highly creative, enjoys producing content, stays current on social media trends, and can transform ideas into engaging digital content across multiple platforms.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social platforms
  • Experience editing video content
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience with Canva or similar design platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating content for healthcare, education, or human services organizations
  • Experience supporting recruiting and employer brand initiatives
  • Photography and videography experience
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience
  • Experience working with distributed or multi-location organizations

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day social media publishing across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
  • Maintain and execute content calendars
  • Monitor engagement and assist with community management
  • Identify social media trends and opportunities relevant to Butterfly Effects
  • Support recruiting, awareness, and brand-building campaigns through social media
  • Create social media graphics, videos, reels, and short-form content
  • Develop written content for social media, blogs, email campaigns, and internal communications
  • Assist with photography and video content collection from field teams, events, and community initiatives
  • Coordinate employee spotlight, clinician spotlight, and company culture content
  • Support content needs for recruiting campaigns, referral initiatives, and community outreach programs
  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, recruiting, and marketing campaigns
  • Assist with video planning, scripting, and production
  • Repurpose existing content into multiple formats and channels
  • Support email marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
  • Assist with event marketing, sponsorship activations, and community outreach efforts
  • Coordinate content requests from internal stakeholders
  • Ensure content aligns with established brand standards and messaging guidelines
