About The Position

Turning Point Ministries is the broadcast ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah, dedicated to delivering the unchanging Word of God through various media channels. The ministry aims to share the Gospel with theological and creative excellence, reaching approximately 3 billion people globally. With over two hundred staff, Turning Point fosters a professional Christian community where employees are empowered to use their skills to glorify God and make an eternal impact. The Marketing Content Copywriter will write, edit, and adapt teaching content into clear, compelling digital marketing and inspirational materials, maintaining Turning Point’s established voice. This role requires strong editorial judgment, theological accuracy, consistency, and the ability to manage a high volume of work across different formats, channels, and audiences, while upholding the ministry's editorial voice and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of professional writing, editing, or content marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to translate theological concepts into clear, compelling communications for diverse audiences
  • Strong writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to write in an established voice across marketing and inspirational content
  • Experience adapting long-form source material for multiple formats and audiences
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline management
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple writing projects from concept through final delivery
  • Ability to receive direction, incorporate feedback, and manage recurring assignments
  • Must be a like-minded believer and share our passion to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world

Nice To Haves

  • Christian ministry, publishing, fundraising, or donor communications experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and adapt approved teaching content into marketing copy for compelling campaigns, inspirational articles, web content, ministry resources, and other audience-specific materials, ensuring alignment with Turning Point’s established voice, theological standards, and strategic messaging.
  • Edit, excerpt, and adapt copy for a variety of formats, channels, and audiences.
  • Partner with the Senior Digital Content Manager to prioritize assignments and refine and finalize copy.
  • Manage a steady volume of editorial work while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Exercise editorial judgment to ensure content is theologically accurate, faithful to approved source material, and consistent with editorial and brand standards.
  • Incorporate feedback and coordinate with internal teams to ensure copy is cohesive and appropriate for each audience and channel.
  • Leverage approved AI and editorial technologies to enhance research, efficiency, editing, and content development while maintaining originality, theological integrity, and editorial judgment.
