About The Position

The Marketing & Community Engagement Specialist is the creative engine behind Graham Auto Repair’s (GAR) brand growth and community presence. In this role, you aren’t just executing tasks you are a creative strategist. You will proactively develop, pitch, and execute high-impact marketing campaigns, promotional specials, and digital content. Your goal is to own the marketing pipeline, increasing engagement and improving customer outreach while staying true to GAR’s purpose, vision, and core values.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of demonstrated experience in marketing and communications.
  • Proven ability to brainstorm and present creative concepts independently.
  • SEO experience is required.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and creative tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Professional, courteous, and clear verbal/written skills; ability to "pitch" ideas effectively to leadership.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision under strict deadlines.
  • Ability to create and edit high-quality content quickly.
  • Valid driver’s license is required; must be able to travel for community events.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and present comprehensive marketing campaigns and seasonal specials to management for approval.
  • Conceptualize and produce high-quality content for social media, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Lead the design and production of marketing materials (flyers, posters, digital graphics), ensuring all assets align with the GAR brand voice.
  • Manage and optimize website content (landing pages, blogs, SEO) to ensure high visibility and active lead generation.
  • Own day-to-day operations of all social media platforms, including scheduling, engagement, and collaboration with local partners.
  • Monitor performance metrics (ROI, engagement, KPIs) and host weekly/monthly meetings to report results and pitch new initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of SEO trends and digital marketing best practices to keep GAR competitive.
  • Identify and recommend new partnership opportunities with local organizations and businesses.
  • Serve as the primary face of GAR at community events, networking opportunities, and outreach initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute community-focused events from start to finish, managing logistics, registration, and promotion.
  • Coordinate sponsorships, donations, and volunteer opportunities to enhance our local footprint.
  • Execute initiatives to foster deeper connections with existing customers and attract new ones through community-driven efforts.
