About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Marketing Communications Specialist to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Products, you will support the execution of MetOcean’s marketing and communications activities across digital campaigns, tradeshows, website management, partner initiatives, and customer engagement efforts. You will work closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and external partners to help coordinate campaigns, support product launches, and ensure marketing initiatives are delivered effectively and consistently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced technical environment.

Requirements

  • Strong written communication and content development skills.
  • Excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and external partners.
  • Practical, solution-oriented problem-solving approach.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media, and campaign coordination.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or campaign coordination.
  • Experience supporting digital campaigns, website management, email marketing, and event coordination.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, WordPress, Google Analytics, or similar marketing platforms is preferred.
  • Experience working in a B2B, technical, manufacturing, defence, marine, or technology environment is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with satellite communications, IoT, or telemetry systems considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, social media, web, and event channels.
  • Develop written marketing content including website copy, social media posts, email campaigns, press releases, customer communications, and sales materials.
  • Manage website updates, SEO initiatives, email campaigns, analytics reporting, and lead generation activities using tools such as WordPress, Salesforce, and Google Analytics.
  • Coordinate tradeshows, conferences, sponsorships, partner activities, promotional materials, logistics, and event communications.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to support launches, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance, industry trends, competitor activity, and marketing analytics to support continuous improvement.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
