About The Position

Roberts Civil Engineering is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist (External) to support internal and external communications, culture and engagement initiatives, marketing collateral, events, and client outreach. The role works across the company to turn approved technical and leader-provided information into clear materials and ensure consistent follow-through on recurring marketing, communication, and coordination responsibilities. The specialist creates and coordinates approved employee-facing messages, social media content, email communications, website updates, and other routine communications. The role supports RCE’s brand and external engagement through community involvement, industry initiatives, strategic partnerships, company events, and other approved outreach. It maintains marketing collateral and brand resources, prepares marketing materials using established brand standards, and coordinates with approved vendors. The position creates written, photo, and video content; supports technical and divisional leaders with planned client outreach and pursuit materials; and coordinates approved client appreciation, relationship-building, community, and industry events. It organizes outreach schedules and follow-up materials without independently owning client relationships or making commitments on RCE’s behalf. It also provides administrative coordination for designated product lifecycle meetings and related Monday.com workflows, maintains process documentation and status information, reviews assigned company properties for maintenance needs, and researches potential development opportunities according to criteria established by Technical Division leaders. Strategically, the specialist partners with technical and divisional leaders to improve marketing and communications support for client engagement and pursuit activities; coordinates reviews of collateral and brand resources; supports internal culture and engagement initiatives; and recommends practical process improvements to the HR Director. The role protects brand consistency, confidentiality, and approval boundaries by escalating sensitive matters to appropriate leaders. Senior and divisional leaders retain ownership of growth and business development strategy, markets, client relationships, pursuit decisions, technical commitments, scope, pricing, contracts, and project delivery.
