About The Position

Moby is an independent, nation-wide fibre optic telecommunications provider delivering high-speed Internet, TV, and Home Phone services. We are not a reseller of incumbent carriers - we design, deploy, and operate our own fibre optic infrastructure. We are an entrepreneurial company looking for people who enjoy building relationships, creating momentum, and owning their processes, while working for a true industry disruptor. We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager who wants to build something meaningful in a company that is growing fast and moving with purpose. You will own Moby's brand voice, drive our marketing engine, and support internal communications. If you have been the engine behind a marketing team and are ready to lead one, this is your moment. You will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely across departments to shape how we communicate with customers, partners, and the public. You will bring structure, creativity, and accountability to a function that touches every part of the business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, with at least some exposure to a management or lead role
  • A track record of producing polished, high-quality work in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience in B2B, construction, telecommunications, financial services, or similarly complex industries is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing attention to detail or creative quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing and communications platforms including email, social media, and web content management
  • Comfort working in a smaller, leaner organization where you will roll up your sleeves and own the outcome
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Odoo, Asana, or similar platforms
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with and managing external agencies and vendor relationships
  • Social media management experience across platforms relevant to B2B and consumer audiences
  • Videography, video production, photography, or script-writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned to business goals
  • Manage campaigns from brief through delivery, owning timelines, budgets, and outcomes
  • Lead brand consistency across all channels including digital, print, events, and internal communications
  • Analyze campaign performance and report on key metrics to leadership
  • Write, edit, and proofread content for a wide range of audiences and channels, from executive announcements to customer-facing campaigns
  • Develop and distribute internal communications including newsletters, presentations, and company-wide announcements
  • Own external communications and brand voice across digital channels including website, email, and social media
  • Support video production initiatives including script writing, storytelling, and coordination with production partners
  • Develop internal communications programs that keep employees informed and aligned
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously using tools like Odoo, or Monday.com to keep work organized and on track
  • Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and contractors as needed
  • Build and mentor a small team over time as the function grows
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Executive leadership to align marketing activities with business priorities
  • Support customer-facing initiatives, including B2B relationship marketing and account-based programs
  • Act as a brand steward and communications advisor across the organization
