About The Position

Westmount Realty Capital is a Dallas-based, privately held commercial real estate development and investment management company specializing in value-add and opportunistic real estate investments. The company has a 40-plus-year track record and a portfolio of more than 13 million square feet of industrial and office properties and 4,000 multifamily properties nationally.

The Marketing Communications & Design Intern works closely with the investor relations and marketing departments on graphic design, social media marketing, and content creation. The role is intended for a candidate with an arts or design background and an interest in real estate. The internship offers up to 30 hours per week, increasing to 40 hours during winter and summer, and is scheduled to start in January 2027. It ends July 31, 2027, or no later than December 31, 2027. Pay is $20 per hour, or $25 per hour for MBA students.

Requirements

• Be a rising junior working toward a graduate degree, a student graduating in May or December 2027, or an MBA candidate.
• Have a background in arts or design and an interest in real estate.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced organization and demonstrate self-starting initiative.
• Be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design software within Mac OS.
• Have a strong eye for design and knowledge of design best practices.
• Be passionate about photography, videography, and post-production.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Salesforce/Marketing Cloud and other CRMs.
• Familiarity with real estate.
• Applicants are encouraged to provide a portfolio or samples of previous work.

Responsibilities

• Create graphic design work, particularly marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, templates, and reports.
• Support the multifamily department with property events, social media content, and resident communications.
• Work closely with the investor relations and marketing departments on graphic design, social media marketing, and content creation.
