The Marketing & Business Insights Manager is a leadership role within TechHelp, reporting to the TechHelp Executive Director and serving as a member of the TechHelp Leadership Team. This position is responsible for two primary functions: leading TechHelp’s internal marketing efforts and directing the studio/Blu launch team. In the marketing function, this role develops, manages, and executes TechHelp’s marketing strategy and related activities, including brand stewardship, website content and presence, event marketing, email communications, and promotional and point-of-sale materials. The position works closely with TechHelp leadership and staff to identify priorities and ensure marketing efforts effectively support the organization’s mission and services. In the launch team leadership function, this role leads the studio/Blu team in supporting Idaho businesses with a range of fee-based go-to-market projects, such as branding, website development, market research, and marketing strategy. The position works directly with client companies to assess needs, define project scope, and develop actionable proposals aligned with the skills and capacity of student employees. Under this person’s guidance, students deliver meaningful value to client organizations while gaining practical, career-building experience. This role is both a marketing leadership position and a student mentorship role. This role collaborates extensively with external partners, including organizations such as SBDC, Idaho Commerce, Idaho Manufacturing Alliance, and the Idaho District Export Council, as well as other members of Idaho’s business support network. The position also serves as a key liaison with the College of Business and Economics (COBE) leadership and faculty. Because studio/Blu provides a distinctive experiential learning opportunity that benefits students, the community, and the University, building and maintaining strong relationships across the college is an essential responsibility of this role.
