About The Position

StellerVista Credit Union is seeking a Marketing & Brand Manager to contribute to and execute the credit union’s marketing strategy. The primary focus will be on driving membership growth, deepening member relationships, increasing wallet share, and strengthening StellerVista’s brand. This role translates organizational, operational, and business line priorities into effective, measurable marketing, sales-support, and member engagement programs. The Marketing & Brand Manager will support strategic and operational goals and internal sales-support initiatives, ensuring programs have clear objectives, defined performance measures, and line of sight to member growth, wallet share, engagement, and business results. This position will support the ongoing development and strength of StellerVista’s brand, ensuring a consistent and positive presence across the full-service area. The role is accountable for managing marketing programs and budgets, demonstrating sound decision-making in the execution of initiatives. It is a hands-on leadership role that balances direct involvement in core marketing activities with oversight, planning, and coordination of work across internal teams and external vendors and partners. The Marketing & Brand Manager will work closely with Operations, Retail, Commercial, Community Engagement, IT, Finance, and other internal teams to support both external marketing and internal enablement, including tools, communications, campaigns, and resources that help front-line and sales teams deepen member relationships and promote products and services effectively. Leadership and direction will be provided to marketing resources and cross-functional teams, enabling effective collaboration across the organization. The role will also contribute to continuous improvement through the use of data, insights, performance results, and member and stakeholder feedback. This position is outside of the bargaining unit.

Requirements

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, or brand-related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in campaign planning, project management, and budget oversight.
  • Experience leading projects, initiatives, or functional areas, with accountability for delivering results and achieving established objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Successful candidates must undergo a bonding process that includes a criminal record check and credit check.
