About The Position

We're looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to own our nurturing and marketing automation strategy and to build the engine that moves prospective students from inquiry to enrollment. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and admissions: you'll design, build, and continuously optimize the lifecycle programs that improve our Lead-to-Enrollment (L2E) and Lead-to-Start (L2S) conversion rates, directly supporting our admissions teams and our students. This is a builder's role for someone who thinks in systems and proves impact with data. You'll operate in LeadSquared as our CRM and marketing automation platform, and you'll be responsible for building out the broader marketing technology stack around it. You’ll own the integrations, tools, and data flows that make lifecycle marketing scalable. You'll report directly to the VP of Marketing Operations and partner closely across marketing, admissions, and operations to turn lifecycle strategy into automated, measurable programs that perform. If you're energized by owning a platform end to end, architecting the systems around it, running disciplined tests, and being accountable to conversion metrics that matter to the business, this is your role.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years in marketing automation, lifecycle, CRM, or demand-generation marketing, with hands-on ownership of automated programs.
  • Hands-on experience with LeadSquared strongly preferred; deep experience administering a comparable combined CRM/automation platform (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce/Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Zoho) with the ability to master LeadSquared quickly is welcome — building journeys, scoring, and segmentation, not just executing sends.
  • Experience building out or administering a marketing technology stack: evaluating tools, standing up integrations, and connecting systems so data and workflows move cleanly between platforms.
  • A demonstrated track record of improving funnel conversion metrics (lead-to-conversion, lead-to-close, or equivalent) through nurture and automation.
  • Strong analytical skills: comfort with funnel analysis, A/B testing, and translating data into program decisions.
  • Working knowledge of how CRM, automation, integrations, and reporting fit together as a system.
  • Understanding of email deliverability, data hygiene, and privacy/consent best practices.
  • A systems mindset. You see the lifecycle as an engine to be built and tuned, and you sweat the details that make it run.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in education, admissions, or another high-consideration, multi-touch enrollment or sales funnel.
  • Higher education compliance knowledge, including SMS and email deliverability and TCPA compliance.
  • Familiarity with lead scoring model design and predictive/AI-enabled lifecycle tactics.
  • Experience supporting a sales or admissions team with marketing-sourced, nurtured leads.
  • SQL or comparable data fluency for deeper funnel analysis.
  • Experience with integration tooling, APIs, webhooks, or middleware (e.g., Zapier, Make, native connectors) to connect stack components.

Responsibilities

  • Own the automation and nurture strategy
  • Design and own the end-to-end lead nurturing strategy across the prospective-student lifecycle from inquiry through enrollment and start.
  • Build, launch, and manage automated programs: multi-step nurture journeys, triggered campaigns, lead scoring, segmentation, and lifecycle communications across email and other channels.
  • Map the funnel stages and identify where automation can accelerate progression, reduce leakage, and support admissions at the right moments.
  • Build the engine to move L2E and L2S
  • Take direct ownership of improving Lead-to-Enrollment and Lead-to-Start conversion through automation, nurture, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Build the infrastructure: workflows, triggers, scoring models, and data flows that make lifecycle marketing scalable and repeatable across brands and campuses.
  • Partner with admissions to ensure automation supports (never competes with) human outreach, timing hand-offs and touchpoints to maximize conversion.
  • Optimize through testing and measurement
  • Bring a rigorous test-and-learn discipline: run A/B and incrementality tests, analyze results, and iterate toward measurable lift.
  • Own reporting on automation and nurture performance, funnel metrics, conversion rates, and program impact, and translate findings into action.
  • Continuously refine segmentation, timing, content, and triggers based on performance data.
  • Own the platform and build out the tech stack
  • Serve as the marketing owner of LeadSquared as our CRM and marketing automation platform: campaign build, deliverability, list and data hygiene, lead scoring, and automation configuration.
  • Build out and evolve the broader marketing technology stack.
  • Design and maintain clean, reliable data flows between LeadSquared, source systems, and reporting so decisions rest on trustworthy numbers.
  • Ensure compliance with email, privacy, and consent requirements across all automated communications.
