About the position
DataCamp is seeking a Marketing Associate to join their Media & Product Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the team, launching new growth marketing initiatives, and managing DataCamp's social media channels. You will collaborate with various teams to drive organic growth on social media and amplify the narratives of learners and organizations engaged in data upskilling. This is an individual contributor role that involves owning the growth of DataCamp's organic social channels, analyzing channel performance, engaging with the learner community, creating visually appealing assets and copy, and coordinating with the marketing team for content delivery and alignment with marketing goals.
Responsibilities
- Own the growth of DataCamp’s organic social channels across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, and more
- Monitor and analyze channel performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Engage with DataCamp’s learner community through organic social channels
- Create visually appealing assets and engaging copy for social channels, ensuring consistency with DataCamp's brand voice and identity
- Collaborate with designers, video editors, and other content creators to produce high-quality social-first micro-content derived from webinars, podcast episodes, and more
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with overall marketing goals
- Assist the marketing team with ad hoc tasks, such as event coordination, email creation, content scheduling, and campaign support.
Requirements
- Experience in managing and growing organic social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, etc.)
- Ability to monitor and analyze channel performance and provide insights for improvement
- Strong engagement skills to interact with DataCamp's learner community through social channels
- Proficiency in creating visually appealing assets and engaging copy for social media, while maintaining consistency with DataCamp's brand voice and identity
- Collaboration skills to work with designers, video editors, and other content creators to produce high-quality social-first micro-content
- Ability to coordinate with the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with overall marketing goals
- Willingness to assist with ad hoc tasks such as event coordination, email creation, content scheduling, and campaign support.
