About The Position

Tailwind Group is seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to enhance their online presence and promote their property through engaging photo and video content on social media platforms. This role is crucial for outreach marketing efforts to attract new residents and promote the property within the local community. The successful candidate will provide engaging social media content, assist with the monthly marketing calendar, contribute to resident events, and understand the importance of the property's reputation and success. The Landing College Station is a recently renovated housing community with 546 units and 1,006 beds, designed for Texas A&M University students.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours a week between 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience with editing apps such as CapCut, Canva, and Adobe Lightroom.
  • Strong photography, videography, and editing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality photo and video content for social media marketing and promotional materials.
  • Manage and maintain property social media profiles, including posting, responding to comments, and fostering community engagement.
  • Assist in planning and executing outreach marketing campaigns to attract new residents and promote the property within the local community.
  • Collaborate with the Leasing Manager to provide marketing support for leasing and resident retention efforts.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar for a consistent social media posting schedule.
  • Participate and assist with outreach marketing efforts on campus and in the community, customer appreciation events, and other special events.
  • Foster a sense of community among residents by showcasing their experiences and contributions through digital marketing content.
  • Take ownership of the property's image and ensure marketing materials accurately represent its features and amenities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and social media best practices.
  • Explore opportunities for partnerships and collaborations with local businesses and organizations.
  • Participate in a monthly marketing meeting with the Digital Marketing Specialist.
  • Assist with new leasing efforts and other office operations as directed by management.
