We are seeking an outstanding Marketing & Admissions Coordinator with a proven track record of success to join us at a large senior living community in Edmonds Village. Serving residents in a very active community full of fun, family, and opportunities to serve. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating admission to the facility. The admission coordinator seeks and/or receives inquires and documents information for potential residents to be admitted.

Requirements

Current knowledge of state and regulatory requirement related to admissions, discharge and transfer is demonstrated
At least one (1) year of experience in the health care field, preferably long-term care
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Effective written and oral communication skills to communicate with health care professionals, potential residents, family members and the community in general.

Responsibilities

Seek and/or receive inquires and documents for potential residents to be admitted
Screens and evaluated each referral and determine whether the prospective resident meets criteria for transfer and admission
Coordinates all communication received from physician
Documentation of all admission and discharge activity
Responsible for marketing efforts in the community
