About The Position

Action for Children's Fostering (England) service provides a high-quality service for a wide range of children and young people aged 0-18 years. We offer a range of placements including short and long-term placements, solo placements, and sibling group placements, including placements for disabled children and those presenting with multiple needs and challenging behaviour. The role of our Marketing and Recruitment Officer is to help generate new enquiries from members of the public interested in becoming foster carers, either now or in the future. You'll help to promote fostering by delivering marketing campaigns that carry the right message to our target segments. You’ll be joining a dedicated team and will be involved in the development of a full and exciting mix of marketing initiatives. We have fostering offices dotted throughout the UK, which you can utilise if required but this role is home-based, however some travel, from time-to-time, may be required.

Requirements

  • Experience of social media advertising, particularly setting up and the management of Facebook & Instagram paid advertising.
  • Proven experience working with and using a recognised email marketing platform, setting up segmentations, funnels and automations as well as creating engaging content.
  • Demonstrable creative skills using Photoshop, Indesign, Canva.
  • Proven ability to initiate online marketing initiatives and track results.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with video editing software would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering primarily digital marketing campaigns, including content creation, to raise awareness of Fostering across England.
  • Creative design, implementation and budget management of social media advertising including Facebook & Instagram.
  • Driving qualified traffic from the agreed social media channels to our new Fostering website with a goal of increasing overall user engagement.
  • Managing PCP campaigns and reporting on overall ROI.
  • Reporting on website and traffic analytics using Google Analytics.
