About The Position

This work-based learning position is for Transition Academy students only. The Marketing Assistant responsibilities include assisting in organizing campaigns, grant writing, and developing marketing strategies. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of the Marketing department, the attainment of its goals, and the long-term growth of the company. It allows students to practice skills learned in prerequisite and core classes, exploring career opportunities in Marketing and Development.

  • Criminal arrest check will be done through the OSBI; Per Section 1025.1 et seq. Of Title 56 of the Oklahoma statues, House Bill 1790, any prospective employee with a felony or misdemeanor conviction, guilty plea or plea of nolo contendere will not be eligible for employment. This prohibition may be disregarded if an appropriate waiver is obtained from the Office of the Director, DDSD, Department of Human Services, or his/her designees.
  • Community Services Registry check (House Bill 1790) will be done through DDSD, Department of Human Services. The person whose name appears on the registry cannot work for A New Leaf.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing manager/coordinator, internal teams, clients, and partners on marketing strategy.
  • Help identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
  • Assist the grant writing department.
  • Learn and work with various types of software for digital marketing and graphic designing.
  • Work closely with development and marketing.
  • Learn and help create marketing materials such as white papers, case studies, and presentations.
  • Help develop and assist with delivering presentations.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing and sales team.
  • Preparing, formatting, and editing a range of documents.
  • Understanding company product and brand.
  • Helping create and interpret a variety of documents/reports.
  • Organize market research.
  • Learn how to analyze questionnaires and other forms of feedback.
  • General office duties as assigned.
  • Attend donor meetings and events.
