About The Position

The City of Mount Pearl is seeking a Marketing and Communications Officer to contribute to and implement corporate-wide communications and marketing strategies. This role supports the City’s Strategic Plan and business planning objectives by developing and delivering internal and external communications, public relations, and engagement strategies for the public, employees, businesses, institutions, and media. The goal is to align with the City’s vision, priorities, programs, and messaging.

Requirements

• Considerable experience in marketing and communication.
• Graduation with a university degree in communications, public relations, marketing or a related discipline, or sufficient qualifications as determined by assessment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of municipal government would be an asset.
