Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Architech Sports and Physical TherapyCharlotte, NC
Hybrid

About The Position

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is a key partner in Architech's growth engine. Our approach is through education and relationships, and this role manages the execution and project management of the marketing initiatives that carry it forward. They report on ROI and efficacy so we know what's working, and travel to clinic sites across our network to capture photos and video for social media and marketing content. This person tells that story to the physicians, patients, and communities we serve, working closely with our Brand Ambassador, who builds those relationships in the field. They do not need to be the most technical expert on every platform, or personally execute every task. They own the workflow, the outcome, and making sure the right resource is executing well.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills are essential to this role: proven ability to translate leadership priorities into organized, trackable execution plans and drive them to completion on deadline.
  • Working knowledge of marketing and communication systems (CRM/email platforms, learning management systems, website content management, design tools) sufficient to direct execution, without needing to be the most technical user of every platform.
  • Strong writing and content development skills for external, patient- and physician-facing communication.
  • Ability to build and interpret marketing performance data and scorecards.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable managing contracted resources and partnering with clinical leadership.
  • Ability to balance systems ownership with sound judgment for when to delegate execution to specialized internal or outside resources.
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements and patient confidentiality when working in clinical settings, including photo and video capture.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing or communications roles, ideally including content, digital, and campaign management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing CRM/email marketing platforms (e.g., Keap or similar) preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, sports medicine, or a related field a plus.
  • Athletic background preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Own accountability for core marketing systems (Canva, Keap, Kajabi, WordPress), ensuring the right internal or outside resource is executing appropriately within each.
  • Manage the marketing calendar, campaigns, timelines, deliverables, and approvals across the organization; translate leadership priorities into organized, trackable execution plans and drive them to completion.
  • Coordinate sponsorships, events, and outreach initiatives from planning through completion.
  • Build and maintain a marketing scorecard providing visibility into website traffic and conversions, social engagement, email performance, campaign performance, event and workshop results, referral sources, ASPT 50 and community outreach activity, and lead and new patient opportunities.
  • Report on return on investment for marketing initiatives where applicable.
  • Own website content updates, landing pages, articles, SEO coordination, and clinic information accuracy; monitor overall site performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage organic social media channels and content calendar as one component of the broader marketing strategy.
  • Develop and coordinate content that supports brand positioning and Athletic Performance Therapy category-building.
  • Direct contracted resources supporting website and digital execution, managing outcomes and ensuring alignment with strategy.
  • Travel to clinic locations across the network to capture photos and video for social media and marketing content, maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality throughout.
  • Own the strategy, content, communication cadence, and measurement behind community outreach initiatives, including ASPT 50, the outreach database, and campaign tracking.
  • Develop content, materials, and communication resources that support physician, coach, and community relationships.
  • Work in conjunction with the Brand Ambassador role through a standing bi-weekly meeting to align on campaigns, content, tools, contact lists, event support, and follow-up systems, while incorporating field insight on physician needs, coach relationships, and community opportunities.
  • Partner with clinical leadership and clinic teams to ensure consistent, accurate, and on-strategy communication and marketing execution.
  • Own Keap and email marketing execution, including newsletters, patient education campaigns, nurture sequences, audience segmentation, and event and ASPT 50 communications.
  • Ensure messaging reaches the right audience at the right time, and track performance results.
  • Support the organization, packaging, publishing, and distribution of educational content, including Athletic Performance Therapy education, The Architech Method, and CEU resources.
  • Partner with clinical leadership, who retains ownership of educational content and clinical accuracy, to help scale and distribute that content effectively.
