About The Position

The Sr. Marketing Analyst will utilize business knowledge, problem solving, and analytical skills to develop quantitative analysis to drive multi-channel strategies for the Marketing Analytics team and help to prove out the ROI of marketing initiatives. He/she will be responsible for collecting and analyzing campaign performance data, preparing and automating reports, and clearly communicating recommendations with marketing managers. Analysis will generally be complex in nature, where large volumes of data are synthesized into actionable recommendations using SQL tools, analysis software (SAS), Web Analytic Tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tealium) and various statistical techniques. The ideal candidate will be a person who has a strong analytical background that can generate insights that improve marketing and the business through linking various data sources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent SQL skills: extensive experience querying large, complex data sets
  • High proficiency with Excel including pivoting capabilities and analysis modules
  • Proficient with R, SAS, SPSS, or similar
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, analytical, research and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Predictive modeling techniques and programming languages are a plus
  • Experience performing quantitative analysis
  • Experience with heat mapping software is a plus
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze campaign performance data to create actionable insights that can be leveraged by marketing managers to improve the performance of our marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare and automate campaign performance reporting including reports showing the ROI of marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze large data sets using SQL tools, analysis software (SAS), and Web Analytic Tools.
  • Support a variety of marketing efforts that require list segmentation and validation such as direct mail and email marketing.
  • Identify redundancies and efficiencies to minimize manual processes by developing automated solutions such as self-service dashboards.
  • Conduct population and member analysis to start to develop different member and prospect profiles based on available data to allow for better targeting of marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points, to help enhance the consumer funnel.
