About The Position

We’re looking for a Marketing Advisor for a 12-month Term to join our diverse & vibrant team and become part of the ATCO family. ATCO Energy operates 2 lines of business comprising of its Energy and Home Services division and the Blue Flame Kitchen. The trailblazing marketing team works to support all lines of business through digital and traditional marketing campaigns, internal and external communications, and brand development. Working as part of the ATCO Energy marketing team and reporting to our Manager, Strategy & Planning, this role will support Furnace Family, ATCO Energy Home Services and Blue Flame Kitchen. As the Marketing Advisor, your role is pivotal to the implementation and execution of the annual marketing calendar and associated campaigns and programs. You are responsible for executing the annual strategy along with the marketing calendar and identifying opportunities for driving efficiency and growth.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in marketing.
  • 2-5 years’ experience working within a marketing generalist, marketing advisory or Marketing PM role
  • Proven track record leading cross functional teams in the development and implementation of large-scale, multi-channel campaigns
  • Ability to identify target audience preferences, market trends and competitor activities to aid strategic recommendations
  • Highly organized in managing campaign documentation: workback schedules, go-to-market plans, briefs and marketing calendars
  • Effective at building stakeholder rapport, and comfortable acting within an advisory capacity leading marketing relationship
  • Sound understanding of marketing analytics, KPI tracking and performance interpretation
  • Broad knowledge in channel marketing tactics
  • Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Comfortable with job duties that will morph as the business grows and include “other duties as assigned”

Responsibilities

  • Identify and optimize acquisition and repeat purchase campaigns through data driven insights, performance analysis and market trends.
  • Drive adoption by aiding the creation of a strong brand identity, ensuring differentiated and consistent messaging across growth marketing channels.
  • Lead the enhancement of the customer journey by identifying key touchpoints and pain points within the current journey. Utilize customer feedback, analytics, and best practices to strategize improvements while collaborating cross-functionally to implement strategies.
  • Support the Marketing Manager, Strategy & Planning by aiding the development of the annual marketing strategy and marketing calendar, providing thoughtful recommendations as to how to achieve business plan growth and acquisition goals set for the year ahead.
  • Accountable for end-to-end project management of all acquisition-focused campaigns and projects, delivering campaigns on time and budget, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and dependencies along the way.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and agency partners to develop and implement campaign go-to-market plans, ensuring that campaign objectives ladder up to the overarching marketing strategy and business plan objectives.
  • Build trust and credibility with internal stakeholders to align on growth and acquisition priorities, influence decision-making, drive cross functional collaboration for seamless execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders based on market insights and conditions, industry best practices, data-driven analytics and performance.
  • Act as the brand and marketing champion, driving values and mission of the team while fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Responsible for maintaining a sound understanding of business and campaign performance, working with digital teams and agency partners to remain abreast of acquisition campaign effectiveness, and identifying areas for optimization and further growth.
  • Analyze campaign results to extract actionable insights to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and facilitate campaign and monthly brand performance reporting to stakeholder groups and the broader marketing team. Work with R&A and channel teams to ensure accurate attribution and measurement across channels.
  • Ownership and maintain a sound understanding of acquisition KPI’s.
