About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Market VP of Patient Safety & Risk Management for an exciting Travel or Local job in Asheville, NC. This is a Full Time/ Direct Hire position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a clinically related field (RN preferred)
- Minimum 4+ years leadership experience in patient safety, quality, or risk management in acute care
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and patient safety systems
- Experience leading multi-site healthcare teams
- Active clinical license (RN preferred)
- CPPS certification required
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MSN, or related field)
- Experience in multi-facility healthcare systems
- Strong understanding of healthcare quality frameworks and safety culture development
Responsibilities
- Lead patient safety and risk management programs across multiple facilities
- Drive clinical excellence, safety culture, and risk reduction initiatives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate patient safety risks
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and claims activities
- Lead process improvement and quality outcome initiatives
- Ensure compliance with CMS, The Joint Commission, and AHCA standards
- Execute and manage annual patient safety programs
- Collaborate with executive leadership on safety and quality strategy
- Provide patient safety education and training across facilities
- Support regulatory readiness and survey preparedness
- Lead and mentor multi-site clinical and safety teams
- Build strong relationships with executive and clinical stakeholders
